Created in 2020, before generative AI became part of the creative toolkit, this series of episode posters for Sky News Arabia’s “The Story” explored one challenge: telling a story without a single word. Each artwork translated an episode’s subject into an emotional experience from the fear surrounding COVID-19 to optimism for the UAE’s future and empathy for communities facing hardship around the world.

Beginning with research and carefully sourced imagery, I built each composition in Photoshop and Illustrator, combining collage, illustration, and photo manipulation. Meticulously crafted shadows and highlights brought the elements together, while cotton-paper textures and expressive brush effects gave the digital artworks the tactile character of watercolor paintings. Every poster invited viewers to feel the story before hearing it.
